nerdalicious

When people think of me, the words that come to mind tend to be "awesome," "hardcore," "gangsta," "way cool," "trendsetter," "my idol," etc.
But there's a secret side of me that no one really knows about because it's hidden under all of my layers of cool.
What I'm about to say may shock some of you, but underneath all of those layers,
I'm a nerd.
Yep, a full-blown one who even goes to Comic Con & stuff. I'm not a trekkie or anything, but Harry Potter, the Twilight series, Heroes, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, superhero movies, Chuck and many more have stolen my heart (and lots of my time).

When I heard that the cast of Chuck was going to be at this year's Comic Con, you better believe I found a way to be there. It wasn't easy, but after finding friends to go to Cali with, searching ebay and craigslist, meeting up in a sketchy back alley for a ticket (jk we met at a starbucks and it was from a blonde high school girl, ha), I made it to the Con. And it was epic.

If you don't know much about Comic Con, just imagine Disneyland-type crowds and lines, but instead of cute little kids it's these people:

Right when I got there I went straight to the line for the Chuck panel, karate chopped a couple o' suckers outta my way, and waited there for about two hours. The line was massive, but eventually I got in and got to see my bf Zachary Levi.
The panel was HILARIOUS and included a Jeffster music video, a clip from Chuck and Morgan, and little Q and A. If you don't know who Jeffster, Chuck or Morgan are, then you suck and need to start watching Chuck asap. Seriously go now.

After the Q and A they had a signing for the cast at a different part of the Convention Center, but when I ran over there they had already closed off the line. I was a little ticked. How was I going to get Zachary Levi to fall in love with me without talking to him?? Well somehow I managed because when the cast came out I said "I LOVE YOU!" and he said "I love you too!", looked at me and then smiled. Do you think I'm making this up?? Because I'm not. It's basically official, we're getting married.

(Check out Big Mike lookin at my camera...ya we're tight)

Anyway, once that was over I saw Chris Pine, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, some dude who's in Dinner for Schmucks, etc. Nbd. It was a crazy time and I'll definitely be back next year (maybe by then Zac & I will be engaged & I'll get to drive around VIP style. Ya, probably).

So now you know about my dark side. Do YOU have any crazy sides no one knows about??
